Cade's 1st Easter

He is RISEN! He's ALIVE! Thank you Jesus for your ultimate sacrifice!

Cade woke up to find that the Easter bunny had stopped by and left him a few things.... He LOVED the mini baseball, basketball, & football!

He also got to have Mimi & Poppy stop by too! They came with us to church before heading over to see all the family.

Cade was so excited to see his Mimi that he went in for a love tap (er, hit). Luckily, Mimi dodged that bullet.

Wheee, this is so exciting to see Mimi! (Sorry about the pics Mom:)

Now it was time for Cade to see/open his Easter basket...

Told ya Poppy was here too:) Cade wanted to tip his hat off to the camera.

Our 1st Easter with our Little Munchkin!

A bit blurry.... sorry.

Unfortunately, I did not get any pics with the family on my side or Brad's. We were having way too much fun to stop for pictures.

Rub-a-Dub-Dub

Cade had his 1st bath in the 'big boy' tub this morning. He would have had one a long time ago, however, we only have showers at our house.... no bathtubs:( Before we checked out of our hotel, we decided to let Cade in on some bathtub fun! He loved it - which made me wish we had a tub even more than I already wished. I didn't think ahead and pack bath toys, so I had to be creative. I got a few plastic cups and spoons for him to play with. I don't think he noticed ... :)

I just HAD to get a 'buns' shot! Aren't those the cutest set of cheeks you've ever seen!?
I may have opened up a can of worms. I don't think Cade will approve of his mini baths at home anymore since they aren't nearly as fun as this was. Mimi & Poppy, get ready! We will have to come to your house for bath time!

Woo Hoo, It's Shamu!

After our Padres/Dodger baseball game we stayed the night in the Gaslamp District in downtown San Diego. We headed to SeaWorld the next day. Warning: this post is reeaaaalllly long with many pictures. Here is my favorite - the seals (or are they sea otters??) !

The boys taking a break...

This is Clyde (in the water) balancing the ball on his nose. Seymour is the one on land with the trainer.

Taking it all in...

It was too cute! The did a DWTS skit and had the sea otters do a hip hop dance. It was a crack up:) This was so neat.... an escalator going through the aquarium!

The dolphin show - these 2 were just saying 'hello'!
How cool would that be to ride on a dolphin's nose?? Maybe I should put that on my bucket list:)

It was soooo hot! Every little bit of shade we could scrape together helped. This is some kind pf whale. I forgot the name... whoops!
How cool are these next few shots!? These animals are so darn smart!

Isn't this the cutest little dolphin you have ever seen!?
Time for the Shamu Show!!

Gorgeous!

After this action-packed, sun-soaked day the Cade Man was exhausted. Brad and I felt the same:)
We miss San Diego already. We will be back soon, SD!
