Baby Girl,

I cannot believe you are already one whole week old. You are such a peanut.... a much loved peanut. Daddy & I love you so much! Your big brother loves to look at you. Every time he looks at you, he gets a huge smile and usually points and giggles. There is no jealousy from Cade at all. I think he is anxious for you to get bigger so that you 2 can play together and get into trouble with one another:) You have made our family complete. I love to dress you and put bows in your hair. The frilly-er, the better. I even caught Daddy putting your bow on today after it had fallen off. Too cute! How long until I can paint your nails? :) You are such a great baby. You eat like a champ, so I was surprised that you had only gained 1 oz in the past 4 days. You are our petite little lover girl. Daddy & I love showing you off. I catch myself smothering you in kisses. It is so neat to see the differences between you and Cade. I feel so blessed to have one boy and one girl. I dream about the years to come when we will go to lunch together and have daily phone calls at the end of the day to 'catch up'. Happy 1 week birthday, sweet pea. It is hard to believe that only 1 week ago, we were just meeting for the 1st time. I will never forget that moment when I saw you - pure joy. You make Daddy, Cade, and me so happy. I love you.

I can not believe you have finally joined us to make our family complete. We have waited so long to meet you, and I can certainly say it is well beyond worth the wait. You are the most beautiful little girl I could imagine. Mommy has so many pretty outfits and bows for you to wear. She is so excited to have you as her partner in shopping and fashion. But know that Daddy also has some pretty fun ideas for you and us. You are my little girl, and I will be here for you no matter what you choose to do. Surfboards and golf clubs do come in all the pretty colors and have all sorts of cute accessories though. From the very first moment I saw you I have had the most overwhelming feeling of wanting to protect you and give you everything you could possibly want. I love you so much. I look so forward to continuing with the incredible quality time that we have already started to share. We are so lucky to have such a beautiful little girl.
